Colin Ramsay is founder and managing director of Little Dragon Films based in Cambridge (UK). He has produced and directed dozens of corporate videos, short films and documentaries. He has a degree in media technology and was awarded faculty prize for most outstanding student in his field. He hosts Cambridge's largest filmmaking meetup group "Ruptured Screen". Colin also has a ten year corporate background including five years spent working in China and Australia. He's worked in many organisations with many different people and what always excites him are the stories that people tell.
He enjoys close collaboration, keeping the message simple and finding the emotional core of the film to get great results for clients.
James started out as an ethnographic film editor. He cut three feature documentaries before moving to directing. He has had three shorts accepted by the Cannes Film Festival SFC, and he has won awards for his films in Los Angeles and Barcelona. He has produced commercial work for clients including Barclays, Samsung, BT, QVC and MTV.
Before moving into the film industry, James trained as a software engineer, achieving a MEng degree from Cambridge University. He remains a keen programmer, working on interactive projects including mobile games, web applications and interactive installations.
